Dedicated SCM

The SCM service runs on its own dedicated (Linux) server with no other processes/applications running that may impact the performance of the SCM. This restriction of other processes/application includes the UI, SC and any other applications. The only exception to this rule could be the database for the SCM. In some cases, it may be recommended that the database for the SCM be offloaded to a Dedicated Database.
