SCM
From SCInterface Wiki
(Redirected from Server Control Manager)
SCM (SCInterface Control Manager) - The SCM (pronounced S-C-M), also referred to as SCManager, is responsible for knowing everything about your applications, devices and the SCs that it must maintain communication. The official name for the SCM is the SCInterface Control Manager.
The SCM is the heart of SCInterface and processes all the complex computations to allow the SC to communicate with the applications and devices. The SCM communicates directly with the SCs to monitor and control your applications and is designed to run on a separate system such as a Linux or Windows server. Only one SCM is needed to control hundreds of SCs with the SCs communicating directly with the applications and devices.
