From SCInterface Wiki
SConnector (SCInterface Connector) - Pronounced S-Connector, SConnectors are the fundamental framework of the SCInterface infrastructure. An SConnector is the set of rules that describes how SCInterface communicates with a device, application or sensor. It is essentially a driver for SCInterface. SConnectors provide a set of methods for controlling a given device, application or sensor and these properties can even be inherited among other SConnectors. The SConnector methods are passed to the SC by the SCM, where the SC then executes the command as defined by the SConnector. The latest SConnectors for SCInterface are always being updated with the newest features and the latest devices, applications and sensors.
An extremely useful guide to everything about SConnectors is contained within the SConnector Howto.
WARNING: Due to the powerful capabilities of the SConnector framework, addition or modification of SCInterface SConnectors is not supported by SCInterface Support staff. However, Netarus Professional Services provides custom development service for customized SConnectors for a fee. Please contact us for more information.
